Avoid Court and Litigation where possible—Lawyers focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution

Words of wisdom--Avoid Court and Litigation where possible.

Over 167 years ago, President Abraham Lincoln who was then at the time a lawyer in Illinois wrote the following passage in his lecture notes:

“Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. Point out to them how the nominal winner is often a real loser — in fees, expenses, and waste of time. As a peacemaker the lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.”

Although these words were written before the creation of modern society, for us they still maintain their relevance today.

Call us old fashion, but we believe in the simplicity of traditional values, such as hard work, truth and negotiation when there is value in pursuing such ends.

We believe in our clients and know that with some assistance, we can often work through many of the challenges our clients face. Here at My Legal Crunch, we strive to find a peaceful solution by exploring alternative forms, dispute resolution and discouraging litigation where appropriate.

We remain humble and acknowledge the wisdom of many great Men and Women throughout history, and we honour this wisdom by incorporating it into our everyday practice of the law. This is the attention to detail and respect that our clients deserve. Justice. Respect. Results.
